As Robovision continues to evolve and expand its footprint in the AI vision technology sector, the role of Market Director for Manufacturing has become increasingly vital. This position is specifically designed to spearhead our efforts in the manufacturing vertical, one of the key areas where our technology has immense potential.

The Market Director will be responsible for defining and executing a targeted go-to-market strategy and business plan tailored to the unique needs and opportunities within the manufacturing sector. This role is critical for building brand awareness and recognition in the manufacturing industry, leveraging specific engagements with analysts, media, and customers. All market directors have a global perspective and report the global VP of market development streamlining the development of a market-based expansion strategy.

The Market Director's deep understanding of the manufacturing landscape will enable Robovision to precisely position its solutions, addressing the specific challenges and opportunities in this sector. Their role in aligning our product offerings with the needs of the manufacturing industry is crucial for our success and growth in this vertical.


The Market Director will not only drive revenue targets but also play a pivotal role in shaping the perception and adoption of our AI solutions in the manufacturing sector. Job requirements

What will you do?

  • Define and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy and business plan specifically tailored to the manufacturing vertical.

  • Collaborate closely with the sales team and other revenue quota carriers to meet and exceed revenue targets globally within the manufacturing sector.

  • Drive the development and implementation of the manufacturing market development plan, focusing on market penetration and expansion.

  • Build brand awareness and recognition within the manufacturing industry through targeted engagements with analysts, media, customers, and industry influencers.

  • Help in identifying and defining key solutions, ensuring effective positioning of Robovision's products and services within the manufacturing vertical.

  • Act as a subject matter expert on manufacturing industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, leveraging this knowledge to inform strategy and product development.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the manufacturing sector, including clients, partners, and industry bodies.

  • Coordinate with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure alignment of vertical strategies with overall company objectives and market needs.

  • Represent Robovision at industry events, conferences, and forums, enhancing the company's visibility and reputation in the manufacturing sector.


Who are you? 

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience of sales or business development in a technical software environment, preferably in the area of enterprise Software, SaaS, platform-as-a-service (PaaS), AI solutions, cloud solutions, ERP, CRM, CMS, enterprise content management or similar. A strong knowledge of data science, AI or industrial automation is an asset.

  • Proven experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector, with a strong understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities in this vertical.

  • You have a high level of competence and the ability to present and position yourself professionally and empathically at all management levels (including C-Level) to generate successful customer relationships.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and business plans that drive growth and revenue in a specific market.

  • Strong knowledge of the manufacturing industry, including key players, emerging trends, and market dynamics.

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence at all levels.

  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business and revenue targets.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, including analysts, media, and customers.

  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, capable of making data-driven decisions to optimize market strategies.

  • Legal authorization to work in the EU, with the ability to travel as needed for industry events and client meetings.
