We are looking for a Solution Project Manager to join our Solutions department.
Robovision Solutions is responsible for developing, delivering and maintaining state of the art AI solutions to our clients.
A solution is usually built up by the following building blocks:
Robovision platform applications
(re)trainable AI modules that perform analysis and provide feedback on ongoing basis
Software customization and integration
optical (cameras, lighting) and computational (edge devices, servers, cloud) IT infrastructure.
As a Solution Project Manager you are responsible for developing or maintaining one or multiple solutions in parallel to multiple partners or clients. You do this together with a cross functional team typically containing data scientists, software developers, and analysts.
As a solution project manager at Robovision you lead your solution team from project contract throughout project execution to solution end of life. You are the first point of contact for project and solution related information and questions for all internal and external project and solution stakeholders, and act as gatekeeper and facilitator for the Robovision solution team. You also take up the role of people manager for the permanent members of your solution team.
In your role you will work closely together with the pre-sales teams, the internal platform teams, the R&D department and the DevOps team. You report to the Head of Solution Delivery.
Tasks and responsibilities
Coordinate team resources, other involved teams and third parties/vendors in the delivery of projects and solutions.
Translate contracts into solution development roadmaps with clear and concise stage gates or intermediate milestones.
Govern and manage risks and issues related to your solutions.
Complete projects within time and budget while continuously governing scope and quality.
Monitor and manage achievement of key acceptance criteria.
Report on your projects and solutions to relevant internal and external management stakeholders.
Support requests from the sales departments with regard to budget estimate refinement or solution specific information.
Manage the composition and capacity of your solution team to be able to adequately deliver projects and solution related services.
Actively coach team members in their personal development trajectories.
Govern and manage the application of internal operating guidelines, policies and procedures.
Continuously provide feedback to improve internal processes and optimise corporate procedures.
University Master's degree or similar based upon experience
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on delivery to external customers
Experience with Agile methodologies
Excellent resource planning and task identification and scheduling skills
Strong analytical skills
You have the ability to abstract and structure complex problems
Fluent knowledge of Dutch and English
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience in leading teams and coaching of individuals
Solid stakeholder management skills (including externally with customers, suppliers,...)
Tech savviness is a must
Experience in Machine Learning solution environments is a plus
Experience with IT service management practices is a plus
Experience with quality management practices is a plus
