Why this role?
After our success in EMEA and North America, we’re starting our expansion into APAC now. We are seeking a hands-on, tech-savvy Presales Engineer with a knack for sales. As a Presales Engineer, you will be at the forefront of showcasing our cutting-edge vision AI product in real-world scenarios, understanding customer needs, and helping to craft deal-winning solutions.
What will you do?
Help establish the APAC go to-market-strategy as our first APAC-based Presales Engineer
Closely collaborate with local and international colleagues (based in Belgium & Florida)
Support sales by demonstrating our product in a commercial setting
Gain deep understanding of our product and its potential applications
Understand customer needs profoundly to gather all the necessary information to design a deal-winning solution proposal in line with our product capabilities
Answer customers’ technical questions
Evaluate project feasibility by leveraging your data science expertise
Early stage prototyping with customer data to prove our product’s value
Configuring and support technical demo setups
Drafting supporting contract documentation
Share recurring customer requirements with Product Management in order to improve our product roadmap
Job requirements
Who are you?
Self-starter with demonstrated commitment to taking ownership, problem-solving and achieving results in a similar environment
Strong interest in sales processes and a proactive business development mindset
Customer- and solution-focused with exceptional communication and presentation skills
Able to truly listen to customers and understand their needs
Skilled in engaging with various stakeholders and effectively working within and cross-team, locally and internationally
Proactive approach to staying ahead of industry trends and technological developments
Background in IT, computer vision or software development
Experience with or basic knowledge of AI-related tools and technologies
Familiarity with concepts such as cloud services, API's and SDK's
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
Singapore-based, with legal authorization to work in Singapore
You have experience in working fully remote (from home)
Willingness to travel extensively as required by business needs, including on-site customer visits, industry events and company events in Belgium
