Reason for the role
Robovision is opening an office in South Florida to support our North American expansion. We are adopting a more aggressive and regional approach to business growth, which has led to the creation of the Sales Manager – North America role. This position is designed to work with our VP of Business Development – Americas, focusing on designing and executing a go-to-market strategy that seeks to identify new opportunities while leveraging our existing customers, partners, and use cases. This innovative approach is based on our observation that expanding upon existing use cases or exploring adjacencies between existing customers and partners is a highly effective way to increase market share in certain verticals.

The Sales Manager role is essential for driving the execution of this strategy. This role requires a true go-getter personality, someone who is not only willing to travel and actively pursue business opportunities but also possesses the strategic acumen for thoughtful planning, prioritization, follow-up, and execution. The ability to work independently, yet collaboratively with marketing, SDRs, and pre-sales engineers, is crucial. This role is for an individual who can balance proactive business development with the strategic insight necessary to identify and capitalize on new opportunities, thus playing a key role in Robovision's continued market expansion and success.

What will you do?

  • Report to the VP of Business Development - Americas.

  • Help design and execute a North American sales strategy, focusing on leveraging existing customers, partners, and use-cases as anchor points for market expansion.

  • Work with Business Developers and Market Directors to identify and capitalize on opportunities for reselling existing use-cases and exploring adjacencies between use-cases in various verticals, with the aim of cost-effectively increasing market share.

  • Help identify and build a partner network of integrators and machine builders that can broaden Robovision’s market reach, boost our ability to tackle large projects, and drive revenue through indirect sales.

  • Operate in an end-to-end capacity, collaborating with SDRs, Marketing, Pre-sales engineering and implementation teams to manage the full sales lifecycle from lead generation, diligent follow-up, deal closure, smooth hand-off to implementation teams, and ongoing account management.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, sales development representatives (SDRs), and the VP of Business Development - Americas to align campaign strategies with overall business objectives and regional needs.

  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities, potential partnerships, and emerging industry trends.

  • Act as a dynamic go-getter, willing to travel extensively to pursue business opportunities, while also balancing time for strategic planning and execution.

  • Partner and coordinate with pre-sales engineers and other internal resources to effectively demonstrate and communicate the value proposition of Robovision's products and services.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners to foster long-term business growth.

  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies against targets, providing regular pipeline updates and revenue projections.

  • Consistently meet and exceed sales targets.

Job requirements

Who are you?

  • Proven experience in direct and indirect sales, preferably in a technology, SaaS or AI-focused industry, with a track record of successful market expansion initiatives.

  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically, demonstrating both creative thinking and strong analytical skills.

  • Strong project management skills, with an ability to lead complex, technical sales initiatives.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining relationships with clients and partners across various cultures and regions.

  • Willingness to travel extensively as required by business needs, including on-site customer visits, industry events and company events in Belgium.

  • Collaborative mindset, with experience working alongside marketing, sales, and technical teams to achieve business objectives.

  • Legal authorization to work in the US or Canada, with the ability to travel internationally.

  • Ideally located in South Florida with the ability to commute to the office on a regular basis. (office will most likely be located in the Fort Lauderdale area). However, we are open to considering remote work arrangements for exceptionally qualified candidates.
